Christmas Eve Service of Lessons & Carols

Children & Youth need to arrive by 4:30pm

St. Mary’s children will once again be bringing their own special gifts, joy and excitement as they act out the good news of Christ’s birth at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve. Our littlest 3 & 4 year-olds – have been cast as adorable sheep, our shining angels will be portrayed by our 5 & 6 year-olds and grades 3-5 girls, those in first and second grade will be the children of Bethlehem, the roles of the shepherds will be filled by our grades 3-5 boys, and Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, and the Magi will be filled by children in the fourth and fifth grades. Some of our youth will help assist their younger friends and serve as ushers, while others will read our scripture lessons for the evening. All of our participating children will also be sharing their musical gifts with us for our songs.

If you have any questions about this special service, please contact Kelly Cox (coxks11@verizon.net) or Tracy Harvey (tsears@wtvr.com). Childcare for infants through age 2 will be available in the nursery. On Christmas Eve, please make sure your child arrives by 4:30pm to get in their costume and participate in some pre-pageant festivities with the other children.
