Baptism & Confirmation

Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the church. Baptism is a sacrament that recognizes how God establishes a new relationship with us as we affirm (or sponsors affirm on our behalf) our commitment to faith. St. Mary’s baptizes people of all ages. We celebrate baptisms on designated Sundays throughout the year. If you are interested in participating in this sacrament for yourself or on behalf of a child, please contact Lauren Clay to learn more.

If you are an 8th grader or above, you are invited to join the confirmation class that begins each fall. This is an opportunity to grow in faith, learn about the Episcopal tradition, and develop meaningful connections with peers and church members. There are five sessions between October and April, with the confirmation service in May. Contact Kilpy Singer for more information.
