The Reverend Allison Pace

Associate Rector for Pastoral Care

Allison joined St. Mary’s as the Associate Rector for Pastoral Care in August 2026. A native of the Richmond area, Allison is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College (B.A., 2016), Virginia Theological Seminary (M.A., 2020), and the School of Theology at Sewanee: The University of the South (M.Div., 2026). Her ministry experience includes service in four Episcopal parishes, an Episcopal school, and on a bishop’s staff across the Dioceses of Virginia, Southern Virginia, and Tennessee. Through these varied roles, she developed a particular passion for pastoral care and accompanying people through life’s most significant moments of grief, loss, healing, and joy. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, she served as Deacon at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chester.

Recently ordained to the diaconate, Allison anticipates ordination to the priesthood later this year.

Outside of ministry, Allison enjoys walking, spending time outdoors with her horse, Jazz, and being with family and friends. Her parents and brothers live in the Richmond area, and her partner, Chris, is completing his studies at the School of Theology in Sewanee.
