Since 1878, St. Mary’s Church has served as a place of worship for the people of Dover Parish, Goochland County, in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Offering simple, traditional services in the “Virginia” style of the Episcopal Church, St. Mary’s has emphasized the use of The Book of Common Prayer, biblical preaching, participation by laypersons of all ages, Anglican-style choral music, and hearty congregational singing. In our monthly calendar of worship, we seek to maintain a balance between Rites I & II, as well as between Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer.
