Mission Trip for Youth
July 18th -24th St. Mary’s is excited to offer our youth a mission trip this summer in our own backyard. We will be traveling to Westview on the James in Goochland County and working with various non profits in the area. In the evening, we will have the opportunity to take advantage of the wonderful activities that Westview offers. 8th Grade Confirmation Class at Peter-Paul Development Center

On Sunday, February 28th, St. Mary’s 8th grade confirmation class worshipped at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Church Hill. Afterwards, they walked across the street for a party with the children and teens of Peter-Paul Development Center. It was an action packed afternoon with face painting, crafts, twister, and pick-up basketball. Our youth shared some of their favorite books with their friends at Peter-Paul. The party ended with delicious mega sized cupcakes. Congratulations to our 8th graders who raised the money at their bake sale to pay for this event.
Confirmation class meets on Sundays during the Sunday School portion of the 11:00 a.m. worship hour. Rector John Miller serves as visiting teacher on a monthly basis.
